3-D Water Cycle Craft

Cheers! Let's all have another glass of water. I'm so happy to share that I've come up with a way to make learning about the water cycle fun. I created this 3-D water cycle craft where students color the the printable water cycle sequencing cards. Then they paste them on the cloud template in order.

It's super cute and you hang it from the ceiling in your classroom or homeschool room. You'll be able to use it for reinforcing the water cycle too. Simply turn the water cycle craft around and don't stop at the last step. The continual turning illustrates that the water cycle is a process that repeats itself.  This craft is perfect to reinforce the topics taught during this science lesson and it works well as a science center too.

Plus, I've made this craft extra special for ELL ESL and Spanish Immersion teachers. The graphics don't include label so the kiddos will add their own. Then, I created a water cycle printable poster in English and I have a printable water cycle poster in Spanish too that reads El ciclo aqua.

The 3-D Water Cycle Craftivity includes directions, patterns, water cycle sequencing cards, a black and white water cycle poster, and a color water cycle poster. The four water cycle sequencing cards are for condensation, precipitation, run off, and evaporation.

Solar System Craft

Solar System: 3D Solar System Craftivity Fun. Your students will create their very own 3D solar system with this 3D solar system craft.

solar system craft

This craft includes 3D templates for the Sun, Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune.

For each craft, your kiddos will write a short informational report on each side (there is a creative imagine and draw form for young students) of the planet. It's a fun way for your students to research and learn about the planets.

In the end you get a great classroom display or solar system bulletin board! The results will be out of this world.

You can print the black and white planet templates on white or colored paper since I have included two options.

Please send me a picture of your final solar system project to englishonline114@yahoo.com for me to share on my blog! I love to see what you are doing in your classroom. Thanks!

Weather Crafts for Preschoolers -- a rainbow and cloud craft for weather themes

I'm super excited about this weather craft for preschoolers. It's perfect for kindergarten, first, and second grade science activities too. Add a rainbow craft to your next weather lesson or weather unit.

This simple craft lets young students cut and paste and color. Students will cut out the sun, paste the sun rays, glue cotton balls to the cloud (you will need 14 cotton balls for each student or you can use a dauber or bingo marker), and color the colors of the rainbow.

This is great for working with learning colors too. (This craft uses purple instead of indigo and violet since those colors are not in the 8 pack of crayons.) This weather craft makes a great bulletin boards too so be sure to display them. You can find it in my teaching resource store {HERE}.

I want to add a little update. Check out what the students of a teacher friend created in their class this week.

Four Seasons Tree Craft: A 3D Foldable Seasons of a Tree Craftivity

I love hands on learning and I'm adding more foldable teaching resources to my teaching bag. We teach about the seasons changing throughout the year and one of the best ways to do this is with trees. In fact, if your students can see a tree outside of your class window, ask them to draw and color a picture of that tree throughout the school year.
seasons tree craftivity

I just created my Four Seasons of  a Tree Craft where students use sequencing cards of the seasons and make them into a 3D craft. It's a perfect tree craftivity for little hands to learn about the seasons and it makes a great class decoration too.

I printed the tree top on green paper, but you can use any color that you'd like and maybe even find some cool printed paper too. I even created a four seasons classroom poster.
